The Jungle Warfare is a term used to cover the specific techniques needed for militaries to survive and fight in the jungle. Warfare in the jungle has many effects and opportunities towards the military operations. These include: * Camouflage and other materials (helps build forces) * Tanks, artillery, aircraft and machine guns were less useful in the jungle as they're was very poor visibility. * Fire and movement - when attacking, one group moves towards the enemy while the others fire to keep the enemy heads down.
In Jungle Warfare, the Japanese were trained as jungle fighters, and the Australians weren't trained to fight at night. Both sides were unfamiliar to the jungle, but because the Japanese trained, they had the advantage. Australians were always anxious about the Japanese, this meant it was hard to get to sleep for them. Both had similar tactics of wearing camouflage in the jungle, so that the enemy couldn't see you.
